Semester at Sea also offers outreach opportunities. Some of the field programs are outreach options. In each country, at least one program will be an outreach program. During these programs, the bond between the students grows even more. These programs are life-changing. Students and professors are able to work hands-on with the community in the country they are visiting. In this image, students and professors visited a boy's orphanage in India. We played, ate lunch with them, and saw where they slept and lived. It was eye-opening to see how they lived. Even in their situation, they were very happy kids and had a lot of fun playing with us, even putting on a talent show for us.
