The ship community is very close. About half the time of the voyage is spent on the ship, so everyone aboard gets really comfortable with each other. With only so much space to go, students are rarely alone. The culture aboard the ship is very welcoming and inclusive. Everyone knows everyone. There are many fun events and activities on the ship, like Sea Olympics, Neptune Day, Talent Show, and dance nights. There is also very limited wifi on board, so there is no access to social media while at sea. Board games and movie nights in the cabins are very popular with students.
